We produce machine-ready inserts in the following shapes; Trigon, Triangle, Round, Rhombic and Positive inserts in sizes ranging from 3/8” to 3/4” I.C., all grades and shapes. These inserts are available in single sided PCBN (Polycryalline Cubic Boron) and PCD (Polycrystalline Cubic Diamond) as well as solid cbn. Applicable for the machining of gray cast irons, as cast and chilled conditions, for operations including turning, milling and boring. NiHard (White Iron) 450Bhn to 750Bhn, for operations including turning, milling, boring and Acme threading, both I.D. (Inside Diamenter) and O.D. (Outside Diameter) Hard turning for tool steels, 55Rc to 65Rc, operations include interrupted cuts. Capabilities include the design and manufacture of custom lathe tooling with interchangeable cartridges capable of holding all shapes and sizes of new inserts without changing toolholders and supports recycling of used inserts through downsizing and resharpening.
